The primary objective was to elevate the laptop to enhance passive airflow underneath the device, reducing heat buildup during demanding workloads such as gaming, rendering, and extended productivity sessions.
The stand features a lightweight yet rigid structure with an open honeycomb geometry that maximizes ventilation while maintaining structural integrity. The elevated angled platform promotes natural convection, allowing hot air to dissipate efficiently from the laptop’s intake and exhaust zones.
In addition to cooling improvements, the stand provides ergonomic benefits by raising the rear of the laptop to a more comfortable typing and viewing angle. Integrated front stops prevent slipping, while the wide base ensures stability during use.
The modular construction enables easy assembly and transport, making the stand suitable for both desk setups and mobile work environments. The design is optimized for 3D printing, balancing material efficiency, durability, and aesthetic minimalism.
