The Snuggly Duckling Clip

Yep, another filament clip. But look at it…loooook at it…it's so cute! Who says filament clips can't also be fun.

We use 99% Bambu filament so that is what has been used for experimentation for this. However, there are two hole sizes to choose from since I know not every filament brand is equal. The eye hole is the smaller of the two and is my go to- a variety of Bambu filaments (all colours/types) consistently thread in nicely but stay snug enough to keep some resistance on the filament so it doesn't slide back out. The clip itself fits very tightly and stays firmly on the spool as well.

If you try it out and want to adjust the size of the holes for personal preference or different filaments, you can use the XY hole compensation setting in the Bambu Slicer to customize them for yourself. Minus will shrink the hole, + will enlarge the hole. I had not used that function before but I found the original Clippadile to be a bit looser than I wanted and was able to adjust it to fit more to my personal preference using the hole compensation and the contour compensation. For the contour compensation, this is one chonky duckling already but if you find it tough to clip on the spool, I expect that you could try a negative value in the contour compensation to slim it down. 

The print profile is for a single clip so you can try it out, adjust if needed and then just clone as many on the plate as you want to print.
