10mm Round to 8mm & 8.5mm Hex Shaft Adapter

This print profile includes a set of two shaft adapters (couplers) featuring a secure clamping design. They are perfect for robotics, RC projects, or any DIY mechanism where you need to safely connect a cylindrical motor shaft or rod to a hexagonal drive shaft.

The clamp-style design with a longitudinal slit allows you to tightly grip the shafts without damaging or scratching them, effectively preventing any slipping under heavy loads.

The profile includes two versions in the same file:

• Version 1: 10mm round shaft to 8mm hex shaft adapter.
• Version 2: 10mm round shaft to 8.5mm hex shaft adapter.

Required Hardware (BOM): To assemble each adapter, you will need the following hardware (the design features perfectly sized recesses for them):

• 2x M3 Screws (Socket head).
• 2x M3 Nuts (These slot into the side pockets to provide the clamping pressure).
