LED Strip Profiles (0° / 20° / 30° / 45° / 60°)

📌 Overview

This is a modular LED strip mounting profile system designed for maximum flexibility and easy installation.
The profiles can be connected together using an integrated dowel/connector, allowing you to create custom lengths without additional hardware.

The system supports multiple viewing angles and segment lengths, making it perfect for:

• Ambient lighting
• Wall wash lighting
• Under-cabinet lighting
• Architectural accents
• DIY smart home projects (WLED, ESPHome, etc.)

An optional translucent diffuser cover can be printed in PETG for a smooth light effect.

If you need custom length without modelling, it is very easy to cut the profile to length using normal side cutters.

I used double sided tape to attach the profile to my shelves.

📦 Included Files / Print Profile Structure

All parts are organized directly inside the print profile and divided into multiple plates for convenience.

Each plate contains one profile angle with all available segment lengths (8 cm, 16 cm, 24 cm), so you can easily choose the angle you want and print the required sizes from a single plate.

The final plate contains the diffuser covers for all lengths.

Printing using Handy App:

In Handy app you are able to select both the print plate and individual objects on that plate as well. So here is how you do it:

1. Select the desired plate based on the angle of the profile you want
2. Then go to object selection and select only the length you need.
3. You then have an option to make multiple copies of the selected profile length at once.

Profile (PLA/PETG recommended)

• Material: PLA / PETG
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 15–25%
• Supports: No
• Walls: 2–3 perimeters

If you are planning on running the strips full power for prolonged time, it might be better to use PETG or ASA/ABS.

Diffuser Cover (Translucent clear PETG recommended)

• Material: Clear / translucent PETG
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 2–3
• Slow outer wall speed improves transparency
