Another Version of my Fidget Twist Toy in a “Pine Cone” Style design.

If you like the top surface finish as presented in my printed model, you at least need Bambu Studio Version 2.5.0.66. With a lower Version you will just be able to get the regular top surface finish.

 

This is a true print-in-place model. 

 

Scaling

 

The way the model is scaled is how i printed it and this is how it works perfectly.

 

Making it bigger should be no problem. I also tried making it smaller. That did not work. If it´s too small, the segments don't have enough material to hold onto each other and the whole toy falls apart. So regarding downsizing there is a threshold until it stops working. Please be aware if you try to make the model smaller. In my opinion the size in the profile is the perfect size anyways.

 

For best results, print it in PLA or PETG.
