Ergonomic M10 Butterfly Knob - PETG Optimized

Description:

A functional and easy-to-grip M10 butterfly knob designed for everyday workshop and household use. This model is optimized for a balance between printing speed and structural integrity.

Key Features:

  • Perfect M10 Fit: Designed with a precise hexagonal recess to hold a standard M10 nut or bolt head securely.
  • Ergonomic Shape: The butterfly design allows for high manual torque without straining your fingers.
  • Material Efficiency: Optimized to be strong yet lightweight with efficient infill settings.

Hardware Required:

  • 1x M10 Nut or Bolt: Simply press-fit into the hexagonal slot. Use a drop of glue if you want it permanently fixed.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG (Highly recommended for durability and slight flexibility).
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3 (Provides a solid outer shell).
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid (Giroid) - offers great multi-directional strength.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good finish on the threads and grip.
  • Supports: Not required (Print with the flat side on the bed).

Assembly Tip:

If the fit is very tight due to printer tolerances, you can gently heat the M10 nut with a lighter or heat gun before pressing it into the plastic for a perfect, permanent seat.
