Magnetic Gate Latch / Lock (Springless Design)

A simple, durable gate latch that uses standard magnets instead of mechanical springs.

Important: Fit Your Magnets First! Magnets from different vendors can vary slightly in size. Before printing the entire set, please print the test piece to check the tolerance for your specific magnets.

How to adjust the hole size in Bambu Studio:

1. Select the negative cylinder in the slicer.
2. Press the S key on your keyboard to open the Scale menu.
3. Uncheck "Uniform scale" (Crucial step! If you leave it checked, you will accidentally change the depth of the hole).
4. Enter your exact magnet diameter in the X and Y fields.
5. Print the test piece.
6. If the magnet fits perfectly, apply these exact X and Y dimensions to both cylinders on Plate 1:
   • Select the first cylinder, press S, uncheck "Uniform scale", and enter your X and Y values.
   • Repeat this step for the second cylinder.
7. Print the full set and assemble!
