This is a two-piece paper towel holder that fits into full-depth opengrid.
Please note:
- Fits a standard 11 inch roll, and has more than enough room for our kikland paper towel rolls or the bounty equivalent, etc.
- On mine, the dual snaps are more than strong enough to tear off a piece of towel with one hand.
- The opengrid snaps are directional, meaning the top (with the up arrow) is inserted first, then then bottom snaps in.
- The snaps are designed to fit snuggly. I suggest starting pressing with your thumb one of the two bottom corners after you get the top edges snugged in. Opengrid snaps loosen just a bit after first use, so i prefer this fit.
- The holder should allow a new roll of paper towel to be slid carefully out or in without removing the holders, but the directional snaps should also be easy enough to remove to insert the roll. If I left much more room, I would be concerned about the towel coming out when in use.
- The design leaves room for an ample 10 cm radius
Opengrid is my favourite wall organization system, designed by David D. If you haven't seen it, check it out! I think it is the best balance of filament efficiency, strength and ease of use for 3d printed wall organization. It is also nicely compatible with gridfinity (3 opengrid width = 2 gridfinity width). Thanks to David D for establishing this standard!
