Description
i got my eufymake e1 uv printer and decided to make a mold for a silicone base for the baseplate.
i got asked for the file, so here it is.
the benefits of a silicone mat is that the overspray you create when printing on the edges u can easily remove without messing up your baseplate.
i used silicone rubber A+B that cures fast with hardness 25a from a chineese website.
i used around 750 grams of silicone for this mold.
added a hook jig you can add it to the silicone plate
keep in mind, this model is made in 4 pieces with a 0.2mm gap so it would not have any problems putting them together.
but make sure u glue it up nicely or do what i did. use double sided tape to hold it together and stick it to a piece of cardboard that is in the uv dtf a film box. i used some gluestick on the 4 corners where the pieces meet so silicone does not leak out
make sure the mold is completely leveled before adding the silicone.
after ur silicone is cured it is possible that some of the silicone leaked through the 0.2mm gap as i would expect having 4 loose pieces glued/stick together.
just use a small nice sharp hobbyknife to trim it off.
