Modular Filament Spool Rack V4 Complete

Thanks to everyone's feedback on my previous models, I have now designed what I hope to be the complete and final version of the Spool Rack. 

I have looked through all the comments and have fixed issues, and added features that many of you had asked for. 


Main Changes

Symmetrical: The Rack is now vertically symmetrical for improved aesthetics and ease of assembly. 

Improved Horizontal Rods: The printable horizontal rods have had a simple but welcome change that they can now be printed flat to improve strength tenfold over previous options. I have also added a very simple system that allows you to twist to lock the horizontal rods with much more friction than previously possible. This massively increases stiffness and ease of assembly.

Improved tolerance on vertical rods: The vertical rods are now exactly 16mm from edge to edge of the octagon, if you wish to buy instead of print the vertical rods, anything 16mm will fit snug and secure.

Two Sizes: There is now the option to print the 20mm version, or the 19mm version, for people who wish to use the most common size of shower curtain rods as a cheap alternative while retaining security of the rack.


Printing and Assembly

Printing and assembly is now easier than ever, all items are labeled and organized inside of one 3mf file.

Choose what you want, hit print and enjoy.

Everything is printable on any printer down to the A1 Mini.

Assembly is as easy as pushing everything together, very simple, very quick. 

Material Usage
 

Here are the numbers for the amount of filament you need if you are printing 100% of the rack, I have measured this per roll of filament that can be stored.

Size Adapters

I have added some size adapters for 2 highly recommended sizes from the previous version. Just print and install by pushing in and installing your desired size rods
