Parts

You will need to print the included hinge pins:

• 4 small pins for the front locking clips
• 2 larger pins for the rear hinges

The rear hinge pins are slightly larger and placed separately on the print bed to make them easy to identify.

Assembly

The pins are designed to fit tight for durability.

Before inserting:

1. Make sure the holes are clean from support residue
2. Align the parts carefully
3. Press the pins into place

If needed you can gently press them in using water pump pliers.

Interior Protection

The inside of the lid can be fitted with foam padding to keep the Mac Mini secure.

Materials that work well:

• EVA foam
• Packing foam
• Any similar soft foam

This helps protect the Mac Mini during transport and keeps it from moving inside the case.

 

Clip Orientation

The front clips can be installed either direction:

• Clips attached to the lid
• Clips attached to the main case

Both options work depending on your preference.
