PTFE Tube Saver (External Spool)

I designed this simple PTFE tube saver as a way to reduce wear on PTFE tube of the external spool of my P1S. This simple PETG print will do many things to help improve the experience of using an external spool.

 

1. Reduces filament friction coming into PTFE tube.
2. Reduces wear and dust from PTFE tube.
3. Easier loading of external spools.
4. Helps avoid and pull out some tangles from external spool.
5. Adds some nice color to your printer!

This print is simply designed with no supports and only a small brim to help with adhesion. The end is tapered on both sides for easy filament ot PTFE tube installation. To install simply press the bead on to your PTFE tube until you hit some resistance. Test to ensure filament can flow through and boom you're done!
