The pythagoras cup also known as the "greedy cup" is an ancient Greek, prank drinking vessel designed by Pythagoras to teach moderation. It functions as a normal cup until filled past a specific line, which triggers a central siphon, emptying the entire contents through the base.  Usage:

• Normal Use: The cup can be filled up to a designated line (usually marked) without issue.
• Overfilling: If filled beyond that point, the entire drink drains out, often on the user's lap.
