UL bar end plugs 1g extremely lightweight bar cap

These are my version of the ultra light bar end cap. They are 1g. They are 20mm in diameter but handlebar tape is squishy so the tolerance doesn't have to be perfect. They are probably not very safe. One of the reasons bar ends are there is to prevent a handlebar from going inside your body in a crash. These make it more likely for that to happen compared to a completely closed design.. but hey, 30g weight savings. I'd probably only use these on hill climb events, not every day riding. They are still safer than no bar end at all though and they do hold the handlebar tape in very well.
