Description
Active FFB Pedal for Sim Racing
This project is an active force-feedback pedal designed for sim racing enthusiasts who want a more immersive and realistic driving experience. The pedal uses a motor-driven system to simulate braking forces and feedback directly from the simulator, giving much more detailed pedal feel compared to traditional load cell or spring-based setups.
This design was created specifically for the V5 version of the GitHub project, so compatibility with other versions is not guaranteed.
The project is intended for makers and experienced DIY builders who enjoy experimenting with hardware and sim racing technology. All necessary parts and printed components are provided in the project files.
Please note: There is no step-by-step assembly guide included. Anyone attempting a project like this is expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and experience with electronics, mechanics, and 3D printing to figure out the assembly and setup. Users are also expected to do their own research on GitHub regarding the software, firmware, and configuration of the project.
All parts were printed in PLA, and after more than 100 hours of driving time, everything is still holding up without issues.
Build it, tweak it, improve it — and most importantly, enjoy the drive.
