Description
Magnetic Mount • Voronoi Design • Spider Enrichment • Support-Free Print
The VoroHammock is a suspended hammock designed for jumping spiders and other small arboreal invertebrates.
Its organic Voronoi lattice structure creates a lightweight and breathable resting spot while still providing excellent strength and stability.
Mounted magnetically to the terrarium ceiling, the hammock hangs freely inside the enclosure and gently moves when your spider explores it — creating a natural and enriching climbing environment.
The open Voronoi pattern also provides many web anchor points, making it perfect for jumping spiders that enjoy building small retreat webs above ground.
• Jumping spiders (Salticidae)
• Arboreal spiders
• Small invertebrates
• Terrarium enrichment
• Natural climbing environments
The hammock is suspended using four thin cords and attaches to the terrarium ceiling with a single neodymium magnet.
Required magnet:
1 × 6×3 mm neodymium magnet
This magnetic mount keeps the hammock securely in place while still allowing it to be easily removed or repositioned.
The hammock can be suspended using different materials such as:
• yarn
• thin cord
• fishing line
Fishing line works especially well because it is strong and nearly invisible inside the terrarium.
Once installed, the hammock will hang naturally centered.
The model is optimized for clean and easy printing.
Recommended settings:
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: not required
• Material: PLA / PETG
• Infill: 10–15%
The Voronoi geometry prints reliably without supports while keeping the structure lightweight and strong.
The VoroHammock continues the Voronoi design language used in my other habitat pieces like VoroBridge and VoroTube.
The goal is to create functional micro-habitats for terrariums that combine:
• organic geometry
• structural efficiency
• natural aesthetics
• animal enrichment
