Tooth Fairy Molar Money Box

Tooth fairy money box. Put the missing tooth in the box and overnight the tooth fairy will exchange it for some coins! 

 

Made to look like an actual tooth, and the thread tolerance should allow you to screw it up and align the top and bottem nicely, as shown in the photos. The thread section was printed in a separate colour for illustrative purposes, but this can be printed all in one colour on one plate. 

 

0.1mm layer height gives the best results, but 0.2mm will work as well. The thread piece has a tiny arrow on the inside wall to help with orientation - the arrow head points to the top section of the box (not the roots of the molar). The thread piece can be glued into the top if desired, but make sure it's in correctly or the two pieces won't align when screwed together.

 

No supports needed; however, a central support can be used in the middle of the root section. This one was printed without supports at 20mm/s for overhangs.
