Description

The industry-standard mounting bracket that many drum modules come with can sometimes create problems for electronic drummers. This new design makes it simpler and quicker to transport and mount a drum module, helping you get to the gig and set up with less hassle.

This design makes it easy for the module to slide right into place on the mounting plate and lock securely. It's designed to work smoothly with the following drum modules and pads, or any other module that uses the standard 70x100mm mounting bracket with a flat bottom surface.

Roland - V71, TD-50X, TD-50, TD-30, TD-20, TD-10

Alesis – SamplePad 4, SamplePad Pro

Yamaha – DTX-Pro, DTX-ProX, DTX-Multi 12

Zildjian – Alchem-e

Pearl – Mimic Pro, e/MERGE

Nord – Drum 3P

Some modules have a slightly recessed area for the factory mounting bracket. To provide more stability and a lower profile, this design uses larger plates than the factory mounting bracket and will likely NOT FIT on modules with a recessed mounting area. For those modules, I’ve created a different design.

Hardware: Use the factory bolts that came with your drum module or mounting plate to attach the printed module-side plate. Four additional bolts/nuts are required to attach the stand-side plate. For those who plan for every contingency, should this mount break, the factory bolts and mounting plate are fully integrated into the design and can be removed easily. You can remove the printed plates and revert to the factory mounting method without carrying spare hardware.

Supports: Yes, underneath the latch.

Material: This design is a sturdy, reliable addition to your drum kit for occasional gigs, even when printed with PLA. If you're a professional or carry your module to gigs frequently, I recommend opting for at least PLA+ or PETG for the best durability.

If you use one of my designs, please consider buying me a coffee!

Boost MeThis is a huge step forward and the type of mounting solution that should have come standard with ALL our drum modules! I think that deserves a boost, don't you?
