🛠️ Assembly Instructions

The design is made for simple, tool-free assembly:

• Connection system: The arms (temples) of the glasses simply slide into the main frame using integrated pegs and holes. No screws are required.

⚙️ Printing and Material Recommendations

To achieve the best results and durability, please note the following recommendations:

• Recommended material: PETG. Why? PETG offers excellent flexibility, strength, and most importantly, temperature resistance. Since these glasses will likely be worn during outdoor summer celebrations, PLA might soften and warp in direct sunlight.
• Tolerances and fitting:
  • Please keep in mind that the clearance between the hole in the frame and the peg on the arm may vary slightly depending on the shrinkage of your chosen material and your printer's calibration.

  • Pro Tip: If you find the connection is too loose after printing and the arms don't hold firmly enough, I highly recommend applying a drop of superglue (CA glue) to the peg before inserting it into the frame. This will ensure a strong and permanent bond.
