Step into the blazing world of Baldur's Gate 3 and unleash the raw infernal fury of Karlach, the unstoppable tiefling barbarian.
This wearable cosplay bundle was created to bring the legendary warrior to life — from her massive Bloodsoaked Greataxe to the rugged armor pieces, demonic horns, and battle-worn accessories that define her iconic look.
But this project is also something personal.
This is my first project of this scale, and along the way I had to learn many new things — including working in Blender, which I had not used before. Until now, I mostly designed and printed practical everyday objects. With Karlach, I decided to challenge myself and apply my 3D printing experience to something completely different: a full cosplay set with modular parts and wearable elements.
This project was a big learning experience, and while I’m sure some things could be done faster or simpler next time, it was an exciting step beyond the functional prints I usually make.
The leather costume is still in production, so I can’t share photos with the model just yet. This cosplay was made specifically for the model (a friend of my wife), who is 164 cm tall, and once the leather outfit is ready, I’ll upload full cosplay photos soon.
Another small note: the pieces shown in the photos are not painted or post-processed. They are displayed exactly as they came off the printer. Living in an apartment and dealing with weather conditions makes painting difficult at the moment, but once I can, I plan to finish them properly so they fully capture Karlach’s fiery aesthetic.
For now, what you see is pure PLA straight from the printer — proof that even without paint, a well-designed print can already look epic.

A fearsome weapon replica inspired by Karlach’s iconic greataxe.

Filament usage:
A rugged armor piece inspired by Karlach’s distinctive arm bracer.
The model can be freely scaled to fit your arm — just remember to apply the same scale factor to all plates.
The spiked shield element slides into the bracer, while the remaining parts require glue for assembly.

Filament usage:
A pair of demonic horns inspired by Karlach’s iconic look.
The horns are mounted using 0.8 mm (0.03 in) elastic bracelet cord, allowing them to sit comfortably and securely on the head. Each horn features three mounting holes for the cord, making the attachment simple and adjustable. The swim cap shown in the photos it was used only for photography because my long hair would otherwise obscure the look of the horns when worn ;)
They are universal size, but can be scaled if needed. Assembly is simple - connect the parts of horns using the included connectors. Both horns feature surface texturing and an engraved Infernal inscription:
“My champion, the Demonsbane.
My blood is her strength!”

The 3MF file has lower quality than the STL due to the 200 MB file size limit on Maker World. For best detail, use the STL version.
This set recreates the decorative metal elements that appear on Karlach’s armor and belt. These details may seem small, but they play a huge role in capturing the rugged, battle-worn aesthetic of the infernal barbarian.

Each piece measures 7.5 × 6 cm (2.95 × 2.36 in) and was designed to resemble heavy forged metal parts, while still being lightweight and comfortable when worn as part of a cosplay outfit.
To achieve the metallic look straight from the printer, the models were printed using PLA Silk Gold filament, which gives the accessories a natural metallic shine without the need for painting.
Each element is designed to attach securely to armor, belts, or fabric pieces using neodymium magnets.

For additional durability during conventions or long events, the mounting points can also be reinforced using thin wire or cord, which can be threaded through the internal structure of the model. Detailed instructions for this reinforcement method are included in the assembly guide.
This hybrid mounting system allows the accessories to stay firmly in place while still being removable when needed.
If you plan to scale the models, remember that magnet slots will scale as well, so you may need to adjust magnet size accordingly.

Filament usage:
This second set focuses on linkable decorative buckles used throughout Karlach’s armor design.
The set includes 12 buckle-style elements, each measuring 8 × 6 cm (3.15 × 2.36 in).
These pieces were designed to mimic forged metal loops and rings commonly used in fantasy armor and belts. Printed in PLA Silk Gold, they create the appearance of metal fittings while remaining lightweight and comfortable for wearable cosplay.
Unlike the first accessory set, these elements are designed for simple mechanical attachment and require no glue.
The decorative buckle element is mounted onto the ring by slightly bending the ring open, allowing the piece to slide into place. Once released, the ring returns to its shape and holds the decoration securely.

Because of the simple and reversible mounting system, no assembly instructions are required.
As with other parts of the kit, it is recommended to scale each ring individually to best fit your own costume design.

The set includes 6 claws, designed to complement leather gloves and the opposite arm, adding extra armored detail.
Each claw measures 12 cm (4.7 in) in length.
