nordic shade

un abat-jour d'inspiration nordique.

vue la taille de mon imprimante je ne pouvais pas la faire plus grande.
et je voulais que l'ampoule soit cachée.
le tout se monte sur une base ikea sunneby.
une petite ampoule e27 est préférable (80mm de haut, 45mm de diamètre) pour l'invisibilité. une ampoule plus grande sera visible mais c'est pas mal non plus.
j'ai rajouté un genre de cloche qui permet de masquer un peu la monture et d'équilibrer le profil. elle est juste posée, on voit une délimitation, mais on s'y fait.
en photos, l'exemplaire noir est montré avec et sans cette cloche.
suivant la transparence du filament, la bague de retenue (à monter sur la monture ikea) est fine (pour les sombres) ou avec un cache pour les couleurs claires qui laissent passer la lumière. les bons réglages pour la compatibilité avec la monture sont dans le profil d'impression. je l'ai imprimée en petg hf.

l'exemplaire clair est en pla wood white oak.

à cause de la finesse et de la hauteur de l'ensemble, j'ai modélisé des supports. sans eux les secousses deviennent trop prononcées et ruinent l'impression.

a nordic-inspired lampshade.

given the size of my printer, i couldn't make it any bigger.

and I wanted the bulb to be hidden.
it all mounts on an ikea sunneby base.
a small e27 bulb is preferable (80mm high, 45mm in diameter) for invisibility. a larger bulb will be visible, but it doesn't look bad either.
i added a kind of cover that partially conceals the mount and balances the profile. it's just placed on top; you can see a slight line, but you get used to it.
in the photos, the black version is shown with and without this cover.
depending on the filament's transparency, the retaining ring (to be mounted on the ikea mount) is either thin (for dark colors) or has a cover for light colors that allow light to pass through. the correct settings for compatibility with the mount are in the print profile. I printed it in petg hf.

the light-colored version is in pla wood white oak.

because of the overall thinness and height, i designed supports. without them, the vibrations become too pronounced and ruin the print.
