Description
Mini Gear Transmission
This model is a compact gear transmission designed as part of my 365-day 3D printing challenge.
The mechanism consists of three small gears mounted on a base that keeps everything aligned and stable. To secure the gears in place, two small press-fit caps are installed on the axles to prevent the gears from sliding off during operation.
Despite its very small size, the transmission works smoothly and demonstrates how simple mechanical systems can be created with 3D printing.
With proper scaling or integration into a larger project, a mechanism like this could even be used in small RC vehicles or other miniature mechanical builds.
