Giant Smashable Egg Puzzle

Make Easter extra fun with this giant smashable egg puzzle! Instead of simply opening an egg, this oversized design breaks apart into 18 magnetic pieces that can be smashed open and reassembled.

 

Perfect for Easter baskets, egg hunts, or family puzzle challenges, the egg can hide treats inside and adds an interactive twist to traditional Easter eggs. After smashing it open, players can race to rebuild the puzzle before claiming the prize inside.

 

The 18-piece puzzle sits at about medium difficulty, making it a fun challenge for both kids and adults. Strong magnets allow the pieces to snap together securely so the egg can be reused year after year.

 

Tips for Building:

 

This file includes pre-made magnet holes, but depending on your printer, you may need to drill out minor imperfections to ensure a proper fit. This model requires  5mm x 2mm Neodymium Disc Magnets — I've linked the ones we used below!

 

To secure the magnets in place, we used Super Glue, which is also linked for your convenience. Allow for a minimum of 6 hours for the glue to set before connecting the egg pieces together.
