Description
A snapshot into the wilderness… a beautiful “General” inspired buck moments before…or after rubbing a tree. 2 piece version available for now. There may be a bobble head version coming soon though :)
Deer rub their antlers on trees mainly to remove velvet, mark territory, and signal dominance. Bucks start by scraping off the soft velvet as antlers finish growing, then keep rubbing through the breeding season to leave visual marks and scent from glands in their foreheads. These rubs act as signposts that communicate a buck’s presence, strength, and boundaries to other deer.
Support removal instructions for Deer:
Please use wire snips or similar to cut tree supports. Do not try to pull the supports from legs or antlers, as you will break the legs due to one tree supporting multiple portions of the design. :)
