Description

System based on SKADENS pegboard system SKÅDIS-compatible tool organizer designed specifically for the side panel of Bambu Lab P1S, X1C, P2S printers. This board allows you to organize your most frequently used 3D printing tools directly on the side of your printer, keeping everything within easy reach while maintaining a clean and functional workspace.

 

The dimensions of the board are optimized for installation on the side panel of the printer, creating a convenient tool station without interfering with the printer's operation.

 

No Modification Required

The mounting system allows the board to be installed or removed in just a few seconds, without drilling, screws, magnets, or any permanent modification to the printer.

 

This makes it a practical and fully reversible solution for organizing your printing tools.

SKÅDIS Compatibility

The hole pattern follows the IKEA SKÅDIS standard, making the board compatible with many existing accessories and 3D printed attachments designed for the SKÅDIS ecosystem.

 

There are already many hooks, holders, and tool mounts available online that can be used with this board.

Increased Hole Density

Compared to the original IKEA SKÅDIS board, this design features double hole density.

 

This allows tools and accessories to be placed with much greater flexibility, enabling a more customized and efficient tool layout while still maintaining compatibility with SKÅDIS accessories.

Assembly instruction:

1. Align the tiles on a flat surface to form the pegboard layout. Connect the tiles using the connector elements to create the full board.

2. Attach the bottom supports to the assembled pegboard. Before inserting the locking pins, select the mounting holes in the bottom row so that the installed supports do not interfere with the printer feet or any other elements underneath the printer. In my installation on the left side of the printer, the supports are mounted as follows:
   1. Left support: hole 7

   2. Right support: hole 5

3. Place the assembled pegboard with the bottom supports underneath your printer, positioning it against the side panel.

4. Install the top supports by inserting them into the gap between the printer frame and the top glass panel. Secure them with the locking pins to lock the board in place.

    

   From the feedback I’ve received, it seems that the bottom supports for the P2S printer may not fit in some cases. In the original print profile, the clearance is set to 6 mm. Before printing, please check the gap between the desk and the bottom of your printer and choose an alternative size if needed. 

    

   In some cases, the upper support hook also does not fit into the groove on the top of the printer. For those users, I’ve prepared a modified version of the hook with thickness reduced from 1.5mm to 0.9mm.
