Description
I bought a decorative pennant for my flagpole at a dollar store, but after getting home I realized it couldn’t be mounted like a regular flag. The pennant didn’t include hooks, and the strings were too short to thread through standard closed clips.
To solve this, I designed a snap open flag clip that can be attached without removing the rope or threading long strings through the clip. The clip opens on one side and then snaps closed around the rope, making installation quick and easy.
The design consists of a main body and a small snap-in locking piece that closes the circular opening after placing it around the rope. Once assembled, it works like a standard flag clip but can be installed on existing flagpole lines.
