Compact Dual-Column D6 Dispenser
I designed this dispenser because I wanted a fun way to travel with my D6 collection. I also wanted a very tactile experience when dispensing my dice. As a D&D Rogue, this make sneak attackes feel very satisfying!
It's also a more organized way to manage D6 dice during tabletop games without taking up too much table space. It’s a simple, mechanical solution that focuses on a reliable drop and a secure fit.
The Details
- Reliable Capacity: Fits 12 standard 16.5mm D6 dice (two columns of six).
- Mechanical Feel: I've added internal friction spheres so the tower snaps into the base with a solid, positive lock. It shouldn't wiggle or slide off accidentally while you're using it.
- Smooth Operation: The slider has a built-in travel limit and a small detent to give you a bit of tactile feedback with every die dropped.
To Assemble
- Insert the slider into the base.
- Slide the tower onto the base until it clicks into place (feel free to add a small amount of glue)
- Line up the hinge holes between the tower and the lid. Use a small piece of filament as the pin.
