Engine Cover - Simhub Belt Tensioner

This is a motor cover for the Simhub belt tensioner. The cover reduces the noise level of the motor and protects it from dust.

The cover fits perfectly under the lever and is securely attached to the aluminum frame with two M6 screws.

I also use a heat sink at the end of the motor, which is why there are cutouts in the housing. The temperature of the motor rises from approx. 41°C to 46°C when covered.

 

For better printing, I have integrated a support, which can be removed after printing. (see image)

The support improves the quality and allows the wall thickness in the model to be reduced.
