Colouring Options

These models can be printed in a few different ways depending on the look you prefer:

• White PLA – Best for colouring or painting after printing.
• White base with black outlines – Creates a colouring-book style effect with strong outlines.
• Black PLA – Works well if you want bold outlines and paint inside the sections.

Printing in plain white PLA is the simplest option and works great with acrylic paint pens or markers.

Size Options

Two size options are included:

• Small versions – 4 models arranged on one plate for faster batch printing.
• Large version – 1 model per plate for easier colouring and painting.

The larger version is ideal for younger children or more detailed painting, while the smaller versions are great for printing several at once for craft activities or classrooms.

 

Scaling / Resizing

These models can be resized if needed.

For best results, keep the X and Y dimensions scaled proportionally so the design stays correctly shaped.

The Z height should remain at approximately 1.6 mm to keep the raised outline effect working properly for colouring.

If the Z height is reduced to around 0.4 mm, the design can also work well as a thin window decoration, similar to a stained-glass style piece.

These thinner versions can be coloured with markers and placed against windows or light sources.
