Wrist NFC tag holder

A fun model to hold a small NFC tag on your wrist. It holds a small rectangular NFC 213 tag (2cm x 1 cm) that I bought on Amazon. I use it to trigger a Shortcut on my iPhone.

I have mine on the same strap as my health monitor (20mm wide, 1.8 mm thick). The holder has been sized to fit that strap and would need to be resized for a larger strap. An inexpensive strap that does fit is available at Amazon, search for “Nylon Loop Compatible with Hume Band, Nylon Replacement Strap, Soft Adjustable Breathable Sport Wristband for Fitness Tracker”.

The NFC tag from an empty Bambu filament spool can fit (not well), in case you want to try this before investing in commercial NFC tags. [Update: iPhones will trigger a personal automation after scanning a Bambu NFC tag; Androids won't.]
