Baffle recessed BR30 LED can light gap cover

This is a solution of a little aesthetic problem. Our 6‑inch recessed lighting housings paired with BR30 LED bulbs leave almost 1-inch  gap between a bulb and a trim. This simple, lightweight adapter rests neatly on top of the bulb and hides that space, creating a clean, finished look.

 

Important: Only for BR30 LED bulbs! Don’t use on incandescent/halogen as it will melt.

 

Note: It was specifically tested on Philips Hue White and color bulb and 6-inch recessed lighting housing. 

Depending on your fixture you might need to adjust the housing itself to change how deep your bulb is positioned.

 

If your fixture leaves a larger or a smaller gap, please let me know so I can create another profile with a custom outer‑ring diameter to match your setup.
