These are MECHANICAL calipers designed specifically for my FREE Helmet Scaler software that I published on Janury 17th 2026.
The calipers are used to take accurate measurements of your head, which allows you to create a digital avatar of your head inside the software. Once you enter your measurements, the software helps you scale helmets properly for your exact head size.
The Helmet Scaler is a desktop application that works on both MacOS and Windows, runs completely offline, and is 100% free — so your data stays on your computer and fully protected.

The calipers also feature a mechanical lock, making it much easier to hold the measurement in place while you read or record it.
