Foldable Flat-Printed Box (Flat-Pack Box)

This model is a small decorative box designed to be 3D printed flat and then folded into a fully functional box without using glue. Thanks to this design, the model prints quickly, uses minimal material, and requires no supports.

The design takes advantage of thin flexible walls and a snap-fit system that allows the box to be easily assembled right after printing. While flat, the model occupies very little space on the printer’s build plate.

Once folded, it becomes a neat little box with a lid — perfect for storing small items such as jewelry, screws, dice, or even as a small gift box.

• support-free 3D printing
• printed as a single flat piece
• quick and easy assembly after printing
• integrated snap-fit locks
• decorative pattern that looks great in dual-color prints

Printing tips:

• recommended layer height: around 0.2 mm

• material: PLA or PETG

   

After printing, simply bend the parts gently along the thin hinge lines and snap the sides into place.
