Flintlock dart pistol

This model is a realistic model of an 18th century flintlock pistol, designed to fire foam darts. I aimed to capture the aesthetic and loading process of this era's pistols. There is even a firing delay (but shorter than real ones) as it is not the trigger releasing the piston but the hammer.

I kept the hardware as minimal as possible, relying only on springs. However, this compromise means that the piston does not seal perfectly, affecting performance. It is still fun to use however as it can shot up to more than 5 meters (I will try to tweak up the performance in a future update).

The model is fully disassemblable for easy maintenance and repair, minimizing the use of glue.

Assembly and loading process is described in the attached pdf, but to make it short: As for a real flintlock gun you must use the push rod (to arm the piston), push the bullet (dart), cock the hammer and fire! And as for the real ones it can misfire (not a bug, a feature ;) ), in this case just arm the hammer again and retry.

But any other 18mm x 50mm or 18mm x 100mm (even a bit longer) will do the job (just don't go for too much power or it will brake).
