Description
I was tasked with helping to create a couple of awards in the form of giant brick figures and they needed bases that we could put lettering on. I hunted but could not find anything that quite got what we wanted or preexisting brick parts to base it on. The closest that I could find was the slope plate 45 2 x 1, but because the legs articulate, I wanted the base to be one piece without having to mount it to another piece. So I created this.
It's still a 45 slope with a plate behind it, but it's two wide instead of one wide.
I also cut out the award plate so that it can be printed flat and glued into place rather than having to print multi-color along the angled surface, creating a bunch of waste.
The words are text modifiers in the slice and can be changed to whatever you would like them to be.
The posts fit the 10:1 1000% big / mega figures legs perfectly (I used the Brick Megafigure (10:1 scale) model by Julia Ebert for the body ) and while I filled in some of the void underneath to better design it for 3d printing, it still connects to other bricks of its scale perfectly fine.
