Description
32mm Cabinet Shelf Pin Drilling Jig – 5mm System with 37mm Offset & Repositioning Pins
As promised in my FDC Maker Lab bio, 3D printing meets woodworking once again with a practical and highly useful tool designed for real furniture‑making needs.
This drilling jig is designed to create perfectly aligned 5 mm holes for cabinet sides, ideal for installing adjustable shelves following the standard European system.
The jig automatically sets:
For drilling more than 5 consecutive holes, simply reposition the jig after the first set of holes.
The included printed alignment pins fit into the previously drilled holes, allowing you to continue drilling with the same 32 mm spacing — accurately and without measuring again.
A built‑in reference edge lets the jig sit perfectly flush against the side of the wooden panel, guaranteeing correct positioning every time.
Like all functional workshop tools, PETG is the recommended material for better durability and wear resistance.
That said, I also printed and tested this jig in PLA, and it works perfectly fine for regular woodworking use.
A simple, precise, and extremely useful jig for anyone building cabinets or furniture.
