Ratcheted Toothpaste Squeezer 3.0 (Print-in-place)

This is Toothpaste Squeezer 3.0, the Ratcheted version. It features an ergonomic design made to be easy to use and easy to print. The squeezer prints in two main parts consisting of the handle and the main body which features a print-in-place ratcheting mechanism designed for no additional complex assembly to be needed. The simple Ratcheting mechanism prevents unwinding of the tube, and keeps it in place. 

Unlike the previous toothpaste squeezers this new improved one can be printed without supports reducing filament waste and keeping the parts clean. 

 

The squeezer is very easy to use and pretty straightforward. Simply insert the handle into the main body making sure the connection piece lines up, then spin the handle to line up the hole on it with the hole on the main body. Insert your tube of toothpaste and wind it up to release the remaining toothpaste. 

To remove the toothpaste tube from the squeezer simply pull out the handle.

 

This design is most likely the final, after countless hours of designing and prototyping I'm pretty happy with the result and I hope you'll enjoy as well!
