Description
Tired of hunting for an AirTag case that's almost what you wanted? Me too. So I built one from scratch in OpenSCAD where you can change pretty much everything — shape, surface texture, decoration, even drop your own SVG artwork on it.
This is a fully parametric snap-fit keychain case for Apple AirTag. The two halves click together with snap bumps and a nail notch so you can pop it open without tools. Everything is designed around the real AirTag dimensions (32mm diameter, 7.95mm thick) so it fits perfectly.
What you can customize:
Shape — Circle, Rounded Square (squircle), or Pill. That's it, three solid choices that all look great on a keyring.
AirTag or similar - Supports AirTags or custom trackers (customizable dimensions)
Surface Texture — 16 patterns to choose from: diamonds, bricks, hexagon grid, pyramids, waves, dots, checkers and more. Apply it to the lid, the box bottom, or both. Tile size and depth are adjustable.
Text engraving — Type anything, pick your font, set the size. Engraved (deboss) or inlay style where you print the text in a contrasting color filament.
SVG artwork — Bring your own SVG file and it gets debossed straight into the surface. Scalable, repositionable, works beautifully with multi-color printing as an inlay. (The Millennium Falcon one in the photos? That's just an SVG drop-in — I'm calling that version the Millennium FalTag 🚀)
Keychain hole — Toggleable, adjustable diameter, always positioned with clean wall clearance.
Optional lid opening — Expose the AirTag's stainless steel logo through the lid if that's your thing.
