Airpods Latching Case 1&2 Pro

The only hardware you will need is 6 M3x8 bolts.

 

This case is very strong and has survived falls without breaking or opening. I trust it a lot to hold my Airpods.

 

I designed this case it to fit the Airpod 1 and 2 pro cases. I didn't like bulky case designs, so I made this one fit the case to be as small as possible, while still adding protection. It doesn't print with any TPU inserts like other designs. It is also very minimalistic and doesn't have any logos. 

 

I recommend using a strong filament, as good layer adhesion is needed. The screws need to cut their own threads into the plastic, so I recommend filing or heating up the screws before cutting the threads to avoid cracking. 

 

The Airpods case can be easily removed from this case for charging. Some foam tape can be added in the case if the fitment is too loose and you don't want it to shake around inside.
