Bring the classic nostalgia of a Slinky to your desk! This 3D-printed version is a masterpiece of precision engineering, designed to be printed in one piece. Once "cracked" or loosened after printing, the thin coils allow for satisfying compression, expansion, and that iconic fluid movement.
Once the print is finished, the layers will be slightly stuck together. Gently run a thin spatula or a hobby knife along the seam, or carefully compress the cylinder from the top. You will hear a satisfying series of "cracks" as the coils separate, transforming the solid tube into a fully functional Slinky.
