Project Hail Mary Grace Keychain - Fixed Supports

Meet Ryland Grace as crafted by Rocky in the film Project Hail Mary. This model has been corrected to print with reduced internal supports.

This is the official model from the movie Project Hail Mary (available here). I fixed the problem of supports being printed inside the model, so enjoy! The prints in the photos are 100% and I plan to print a 150% as well. Supports touch the flat “sitting” portion of the model and are removed most effectively with pliers or the flush cutters that came with your printer. I only used pliers but if you want easier support removal you can try soaking the model in warm water to help soften the supports. Be careful it's not too warm or it will cause the mesh-style model to deform.

 

The model is about 2.75" tall at 100% scale and can be used as is to sit on the corner of a desk, shelf, or monitor or place a key ring through the right hand to create a keychain.

 

Filament I'd recommend for printing:
Bambu Gray (as seen in model photos)
Bambu Dark Gray (as seen in comments)

Bambu Silk Silver (if you prefer a more metallic look)
