I designed and 3D printed this comprehensive workstation for my mother, a professional dressmaker, to clear the clutter from her sewing table. This isn't just a bin; it’s a tiered system designed to keep every essential tool—from large shears to tiny bobbins—within arm's reach.

Functional Layout:

• Vertical Tool Storage: Deep rear slots perfectly sized for fabric shears, rotary cutters, French curves, and rulers.
• Four Dedicated Drawers:
  1. Thread Drawer: Optimized for standard 100m spools.
  2. Daily Essentials: Quick access for needles, machine needles, tape measures, and pins.
  3. Surplus Storage: For extra notions and bulk items.
  4. Machine Maintenance: Specifically for presser feet, seam rippers, bobbins, and small screwdrivers.
• Front Sorting Trays: Open compartments for pin cushions and immediate-use items like snips and chalk.

Print Settings:

• Material: PLA or PETG. (PLA is perfect for the crisp dividers).
• Wall Loops: 4 for a sturdy outer shell.
• Infill: 25% (Grid or Gyroid).
• Supports: No support 
• Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.24mm for a faster print without losing detail.
