Here is a Milwaukee Packout Insert for organizing your tools. This Insert is for the Milwaukee 48-32-4082 PACKOUT SHOCKWAVE Driver Bit Packout Kit - 100 pc (CAT.NO.48-32-4082). Milwaukee sells this bit driver kit in a nice clean plastic packaging but when you open the packaging the storage system is far from clean. This insert set will securely and cleanly hold the bit inserts in place. There is drill bit/adapter storage in the lower insert but this kit doesn't come with drill bits. This Insert is designed to fit in a Milwaukee PACKOUT Tool Case (Thinner Version Packout), 5 Compartments, 9-7/8 in W x 15-1/4 in D x 2.5" in H (CAT.NO.48-22-8436). I 3d scanned and reverse engineered the tools and the Packout and completely dialed in the fit. I had intentions to sell a variety of Packout inserts but I realized I would need a print farm so I am giving them away for free. The inserts are designed in 3 pieces so they can be printed on more types of printers but it also allows the inserts to be locked into the Packout so it will not fall out. The Upper insert for this project is a single piece print but because it may bee tool large for some printers I have included the SMALL PRINTER files. These files are the upper insert split into two halves and 6 dowel pins. The tray haves would need to be glued and pressed together with dowel pins installed. I would recommend the standard single piece upper insert but the glue together version works well too. This insert holds the tools secure so no matter how much you shake or drop the Packout the items will remain in place. Hope you all enjoy inserts! Please post your prints and leave some feedback.

 

IMPORTANT! - To properly install- insert lower nest-1 into the packout first and then slide in lower Insert-2. If you assemble both trays together and then try to place them inside the packout it may not fit. There is a example install video in the pictures of this print profile.
