A compact and fully 3D printable rack & pinion mechanism. Designed as a smooth linear slider driven by a central gear for  small motion systems, ideal for experiments or just as a satisfying mechanical demo.

The model consists of three parts:

• Sliding arm with integrated guide
• Rack with teeth profile
• Pinion gear with shaft
• Customize: Rack with or without end pins and customizable lenght

Everything fits together without hardware (optional: small screws or pins for mounting). The slider moves cleanly and stays aligned thanks to the dual guide rails.
