Description
This is a simple, but improved version of the well-published soda/beer/beverage can lid. Â Made of PLA, it easily snaps on the top of the can. Â The best part is that it has an articulated (print-in-place) hinge that allows a section of the lid to flip up and lay flat against the other half - so it doesn't boop your nose when drinking.
Â
Many of these lids are published with the intention of protecting your beverage from thirsty insects. Â While is certainly true, I can see these being used at parties - allowing guests to choose from different colored lids so they can keep track of their own drink. Â (Check out my published companion project, the Caddy for Beverage Flip Lids.)
Â
I printed mine with PLA Matte, using Bambu's default settings for this filament. Â The lid's integrated hinge is print-in-place. Â Plate 1 of the project has 2 objects - the lid (with a recess for the decorative stripe), and the stripe. Â Plate 2 has a solid color version of the lid.
