If you own a 5th Gen 4Runner or a Lexus GX 460, you know that the "ventilated seats" often feel more like a suggestion than a cooling feature. This is because the seat fans pull air from the cabin floor, which isn't always the coldest spot.
This project is a precision-fit HVAC Vent Redirector designed to snap onto the rear passenger floor vents located under the front seats. It captures the chilled air directly from the A/C system and points it upward toward the seat's intake fans.
The result? Faster cooling and significantly lower seat temperatures—a must-have for hot climates and long summer drives.

Print Settings & Recommendations
- Material: PETG or ASA/ABS is highly recommended. Standard PLA PRO can also be used
- Supports: Not required (if printed on the flat intake face).
- Infill: 15–20% (Grid or Gyroid).
- Wall Loops: 3 for durability.
Installation
- Slide the front seat all the way forward.
- Locate the plastic vent ducting on the floor.
- Press the redirector over the vent until it clicks or seats firmly.
- Set your A/C to "Floor" or "Mix" mode to enjoy the immediate difference in seat cooling!
