Description
A tribute to all Ukrainian friends and supporters.
A Monument to Ukrainian Hero Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi Unveiled in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The monument honors Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi — the Ukrainian soldier executed by russian forces for his final words: “Glory to Ukraine.”
Oleksandr was a sniper of the 163rd Battalion of the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade. Captured near Bakhmut, he stood unarmed before his captors. In the video that shocked the world on March 6, 2023, he looked death in the eye, calmly said “Slava Ukraini,” and was shot moments later.
That single act — a man facing his killers with dignity, refusing to bow — became a symbol of Ukraine’s unbreakable spirit.
Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi paid with his life, but his final words continue to echo far beyond the battlefield. They live in every Ukrainian who refuses to surrender.
Heroes never die.
The supports are easy to remove, but pay attention when removing them from the fingers of the left hand.
