🧭 Determining Magnet Polarity
Before inserting magnets, it’s important to know which side is north and which is south. Here’s how to find out using a small compass:
Prepare your magnet and a compass.
Place the magnet close to the compass needle without touching it.
The north-seeking end (red) of the compass needle will point toward the magnet’s south pole.
The south-seeking end (white) of the needle will point toward the magnet’s north pole.
Mark or remember which face of the magnet is which before loading it into the applicator.
Insert the magnet into the tool so that the correct pole faces outward according to your model’s design.
💡 Tips:
Check your model’s documentation to see which polarity is required for each slot.
Always test-fit before gluing.
If you have multiple magnets, label them or store them separately by polarity to avoid confusion.
