Description
I designed this because I was tired of those giant, clunky plastic bone-shaped holders bouncing around on the leash every time I walked my dog, Kokomo. I wanted something that was literally as small as physically possible, but still actually worked.
It just hooks onto your leash D-ring or a keychain. To load it, you just snap a standard roll of bags right in—no screwing end caps on and off or threading pieces together. I also added a little feed guide for the bags to pass through. It gives it just enough friction to hold the bags in place so the roll doesn't unravel into a huge mess while you're walking.
A quick heads up on printing: I really don't recommend using standard PLA for this. Because you have to snap the roll in, and it's going to be outside taking some abuse on a leash, PLA will probably warp in the sun or snap eventually. You need a material with a bit more strength and flex.
I printed mine in PETG-CF and it's rock solid. Regular PETG, ABS, ASA, or PC should work great too. The print profile I included is the exact one I used for my PETG-CF print, so the tolerances are already dialed in.
Let me know if you print one, and feel free to post a make!
