Designed for sci-fi wargaming, tabletop skirmishes, and dynamic diorama displays, this highly detailed mecha proxy is built to represent your ultimate mobile-assault prototypes while providing an iconic, imposing silhouette across the battlefield. Engineered with FDM and resin tabletop printing in mind, the model features shifting armor plating that exposes an internal luminescent energy frame, a devastating high-energy beam rifle, a massive transforming defense shield, and sharp, readable mechanical details that print cleanly while maintaining its classic, tactical assault aesthetic.
Serving as both a lethal elite unit and an immersive tabletop centerpiece, this miniature embodies awakened battlefield superiority. The stoic, combat-ready pose mounts securely onto the included standardized hexagonal tech-base, while the balanced, dual-wielded loadout creates a commanding tabletop presence. The intricate separated skirt armor, iconic split-horn head-crest, and distinctive exposed chest vents make it a true essential for any high-tech sci-fi army or skirmish board.

- Scale: Tabletop Mecha Scale (approx. 6mm - 10mm wargaming scale)
FDM Printing Recommendations (Optimized for Bambu Lab A1)
- Optimization: Designed to push the limits of FDM detail. Due to the complex, protruding geometry—specifically the delicate split V-fin antenna, the thin edges of the transforming defense shield, and the long barrel of the energy rifle—this model requires careful orientation. Angling the model backward slightly (around 15-20 degrees) on your A1 build plate will help hide layer lines on the primary focal points: the faceplate, exposed chest frame, and front skirt armor.
- Layer Height: Recommended 0.08mm (Extra Fine) to 0.12mm (Fine). Pushing your printer to a 0.08mm layer height is critical to ensure the intricate split horn, facial structure, and the technical details on the exposed internal frame resolve cleanly without looking stepped or blocky.
- Supports: Organic/Tree supports are mandatory for this print. Generate slim tree supports specifically targeting the lowest points of the energy rifle, the bottom edge of the shield, the elbows, the chin, and the overhanging front skirt armor. Ensure the Z-distance for supports is dialed in (0.2mm is standard, but you may want to test 0.16mm for cleaner undersides on the Bambu A1) for easy removal without snapping the delicate arm joints or antenna.
- Nozzle: While highly printable with the stock 0.4mm Bambu nozzle, swapping to a 0.2mm nozzle is highly recommended for this specific model. The smaller extrusion width will dramatically improve the sharpness of the micro-details, particularly the panel lines on the shield and the intricate geometry of the exposed frame and chest.
- Assembly: If printing the miniature and the hexagonal base separately to optimize orientation, they can be permanently bonded using standard cyanoacrylate (CA/super glue.)
